The best mops for your smart home are a little different from the best robot vacuums — smart mops are for harder floors and focus on removing stains and other types of dirt rather than dust and such on a carpet floor. Depending on your home setup certain ones are better for certain situations — however in this post we are going to be exclusively covering the best smart mop you can buy.

What to Look For
Among the smart mops one of the first things to look at is price. Out of all the smart home items a common trend is the higher the price generally the higher quality an item will be. This is not always the case but is very common. If you are not price sensitive it is sometimes a better idea to spend the extra money.
Another thing to look for is to be sure that the particular robot mop you are looking at is optimal for your house. The robot mops vary slightly with function and what they are good at (hardwood vs tile for an example), so it might be best to see which one is the best for your particular situation
Best Smart Mops
iRobot Braava jet 240 Mopping Robot
The iRobot Braava jet is extremely affordable when compared to some of the other smart mops on our list — its also one of the few smart mops to actually exist.
There is a Jet Spray and vibrating cleaning head that can get rid of tough stains such as coffee, ink, ketchup, and more. Additionally, lightweight, low-profile design lets it run around the house without being accidentally kicked or falling down the stairs
To empty the mop all you have to do is hold the cleaning pad over the trash can, press the eject button, and it will fall into the trash. It’s one of the more basic mops on this list and does not have too bad of a price tag either.
iRobot Braava 380t Mopping Robot
THe Braava 280t is a more powerful version of iRobot Braava jet 240. Due to its small stature, it doesn’t have to struggle to slide under hard to reach places such as under the bed,
There are two cleaning modes — one for wet mopping and one for dry sweeping so that it can cover almost any surface.
One downside is the price is a little more than some of the other smart mops on this list (it is a more powerful version of the Braava 240, so it does make sense).
ILIFE V5s Pro
The ILIFE V5s Pro is a smart mop and vacuum that vacuums and mops the surface — it also adjusts to different floor types automatically so you never have to change any settings.
It’s small so it can hide where normal mops and brooms are unable to reach (such as low tables, some couches & TV stands). There are also sets of sensors to keep it from falling down stairs and keep it from bumping into furniture.
It automatically docks to recharge, so it is completely autonomous (except for some maintenance). An enhanced battery brings the runtime up to 140 minutes, letting it do large rooms without having to constantly stop and recharge.
ECOVACS Deebot M80 With Mop Attachment
The ECOVACS Deebot M80 has a mop attachment that turns it into a robot mop from the old smart vacuum setup. The vacuum is compatible with Alexa. There’s also an app you can use to set the cleaning mode, schedule cleaning sessions, monitor accessories and receive alerts.
It has a five stage cleaning system — including a deep clean brush roll and mop. There is a anti-collosion and anti drop sensor to ensure the vacuum doesn’t keep hitting the wall or fall down a set of stairs. This includes a smart motion cleaning system to ensure its cleaning pattern works well and hits all of your house.
There’s a one year warranty to ensure that if anything happens you can get a replacement unit.
